Who is the training useful for?

The target group includes decision-makers and specialists in IT companies, ministries, government agencies, and local municipalities who use or plan to use artificial intelligence solutions in their work. Participation in the course requires belonging to the target group and having an interest in understanding the risks and responsibilities associated with the use of artificial intelligence.

What are the learning outcomes?

Upon completing the training, you will understand the core logic of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) and be able to distinguish between different types of AI models and systems, including high-risk and prohibited use cases. You will identify your organization’s potential role within the framework of the regulation and understand the key obligations associated with it.

How and what will be learned?

Course content:

  • Scope of the AI Act: what the regulation covers and what it does not, including exceptions and low-regulation use cases.
  • AI concepts and types: AI models and systems and their classification (general-purpose models, models with systemic risk, high-risk systems, and prohibited use cases).
  • Roles in the context of the AI Act: possible roles of an organization (e.g. provider, importer, deployer) and the key requirements associated with them.
  • Compliance in practice: classification of AI, defining roles, documentation, following instructions for use, human oversight, transparency, conformity assessment and CE marking, post-market monitoring, and incident handling.
  • Transparency requirements for lower-risk AI.
  • Timeline of the AI Act: when different requirements come into force.
