The aim of the micro-degree is to provide knowledge about research design and evaluating digital products that have aim for behaviour change for the people working in industry in a field of design of digital product.

Do you want to understand complex developments in international politics? Are you curious about the state of modern politics and want to develop deeper knowledge of geopolitics, security, governance, and other issues? In this course, we will become equipped with knowledge about history and political theory to take an informed look at what goes on in the world. We will unpack modern international relations with an analytical perspective, taking IR theoretical and conceptual frameworks and our critical thinking to understand how issues like geopolitical disputes, the climate crisis, economic inequalities, trade wars, and so on intersect with our lived realities and understand whose voices matter and why.

Are all convincing arguments actually true? Can you tell the difference between fact and opinion? In this course, you will learn to think clearly, ask the right questions, and spot mistakes in both your own and others’ reasoning. You will discover how logical fallacies, manipulation, and decision-making traps arise — and how to avoid them. After completing the course, you will be able to argue more effectively, make well-reasoned decisions, and avoid being easily misled. These are skills that give you an advantage in every subject, in further studies, and in real life. Learn to think — not just to believe!

Do you want to understand how money works in our world? Why are some countries rich and some struggle to develop? How did the international financial system emerge and who rules it? In this course, we will study the intersection between politics and the economy to understand how our globalized world economy came to be and who shaped it. We will explore who supports the current order and who challenges it, as well as gain the tools to have an informed discussion about the future of our world.

The course aims to introduce Korean culture through K-content, focusing on how traditional and modern elements appear in everyday life and media. The course introduces Korean culture through K-content, using visual media such as K-pop and Korean animation as primary learning materials. Students explore various aspects of Korean culture, including food, clothing, symbols, music, and everyday spaces, and examine how traditional and modern elements are represented in contemporary media. Basic Korean language elements, such as Hangul and simple expressions, are introduced as supportive tools to enhance understanding of the content. Through interactive activities and discussions, students develop their understanding of Korean society and cultural values. By the end of the course, students will be able to reflect on cultural topics and present their ideas through a cultural comparison or a creative project.
