Equal treatment
Tallinn University is a leader in smart and sustainable living, and a place where people aspire to study and work. In the development of the university we focus on systemic and inclusive practices that enable everyone to realise their potential, grounded in the values of diversity, equal treatment, and equitable opportunities.
Every employee and student is entitled to a safe and supportive study and work environment and is expected to respect the rights of colleagues and fellow students by acting in accordance with accepted standards of conduct.
Since 2022, Tallinn University has been a member of the initiative. Our internal Gender Equality Plan guides the university’s activities in promoting gender equality.
The Commissioner for Equal Treatment supports and advises university members who experience or perceive bullying, discrimination, or unequal treatment. The Commissioner also leads initiatives that advance equity both within the university and in society more broadly.
Please contact the Commissioner for Equal Treatment if you have any questions or observations, or if you would like to contribute to making the university a more equal and inclusive environment.
