Introduction
My research and development work focuses on the use of explainable and human-centred artificial intelligence for knowledge transfer, decision support, and knowledge management in high-stress operational environments. I study how AI-based knowledge systems can support the capture, structuring, transfer, and use of tacit knowledge within organisations.
The main areas of my research include explainable AI (XAI), AI governance and oversight, human–AI collaboration, GraphRAG-based knowledge systems, and transparent and inspectable AI architectures.
My doctoral research focuses on the design of human–AI knowledge systems for high-stress public-sector environments, with the aim of supporting knowledge transfer, analytical work, onboarding, and organisational learning in ways that remain aligned with legal, ethical, and organisational requirements.
