The owner of the payment center is Tallinn University (registry code 74000122), located at Narva mnt 25, 10120 Tallinn, Estonia (hereinafter referred to as the payment center).

Tallinn University is the controller responsible of personal data entered in the payment form. Tallinn University does not disclose information obtained during purchases to third parties except Maksekeskus AS as a processor to the extent that is necessary for Maksekeskus AS to process the payment and in cases prescribed by law.

The application fee is a standard charge that supports the administration of the application process. International Applicants to Tallinn University are required to pay an application fee of €100 per applicant. 

The application fee does not apply to:

• an international student candidate whose previous level or stage of education required for applying was acquired in the Republic of Estonia: secondary education or a corresponding qualification when applying to a Bachelor’s programme, a Bachelor’s degree or a corresponding qualification when applying to a Master’s programme, or a Master’s degree or a corresponding qualification when applying to a Doctoral programme;

• a citizen of the Republic of Estonia;

• a holder of a long-term residence permit or permanent right of residence in the Republic of Estonia;

• an international student candidate whose previous level or stage of education required for applying was acquired outside the Republic of Estonia, but who has been admitted to Tallinn University in the preceding three academic years and whose previous education has gotten a positive assessment;

• Ukrainian citizens applying for the 2026/2027 or 2027/28 intakes;

• an international candidate applying to the MA Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Societies programme. If the candidate also submits an application to a second programme, the application processing fee must be paid.

Please note that there are no additional exemptions from the application fee.

The application fee is non-refundable, including where:

• the payment was made incorrectly or unnecessarily;

• the international student candidate fails to submit all required documents by the application deadline;

• the international student candidate does not pass the admission exam.

Payment process

Fill in all of the required fields (your name and surname as it is written in your passport). Make sure you have read, understand and accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Choose the most suitable payment method. The application fee can be paid via an online bank transfer or using a Visa or MasterCard credit card. The payment should be made in euros.

Your application will not be processed until Tallinn University has received the application fee payment. Feedback to your application will be given within two weeks of Tallinn University receiving your application fee payment.

Requirements for payments

• The application fee is 100 EUR per applicant, which enables to apply for 2 study programmes in Tallinn University during one admission period. 

• An application will not be processed until the application fee of €100 has been received in full. It is the applicant’s responsibility to pay for any bank transaction fees that are charged in order to complete the transaction, both at the bank they select to use to transfer the funds, and at the receiving bank in Estonia. 

• The application fee must be paid by the application deadline, the very latest. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that Tallinn University has received the application fee payment by the payment deadline. International bank transfer can take up to 2 weeks to process. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you make the application fee payment at the earliest opportunity. 

• Any application fee payments made after the application fee deadline will result in the application being considered as late. Late applications will not be processed. 

• The application fee is a fee for the processing and assessment of the application and is non-refundable in accordance with § 8(9) of the Tallinn University Requirements and Procedure for the Admission to Degree Studies.
